Moray Firth Jobs Site News

 

The site has now been up and running for over a month now and the number of jobs on our site is growing daily, as is the number of recruiters using our site to advertise their jobs. As of April we have now introduced Aberdeen to the search area and we now have a number of jobs in the Aberdeen area, which hopefully will grow as much as the Inverness area.

 

April has also been a good month in the search engines, with our site now being ranked highly, including being No1 in MSN.co.uk for the Keywords "Jobs Inverness" , "Jobs In Inverness" , "Jobs in Moray" , "Jobs in Forres" and many other towns in the Moray Firth Area. We are also on the first page for "Jobs In Elgin".

The exciting new music venue "The Ironworks", due to open its doors this summer in Inverness will create 40 Jobs. The venue is currently being built in Academy Street, Inverness. For details of jobs at the Ironworks keep any eye on this site.

A new Hotel booking site for the Moray Firth area has been announced today (Sunday 16.4.06). The site Moray Firth Hotels will cater for Hotels in Inverness, Elgin, Aberdeen The Highlands and Grampian. Keep any eye out here for more information.

 

Hydro Scheme to create 400 Jobs

 

A £140 million hydro electric sheme on loch ness is to create 400 construction jobs. The scheme which is Scotlands last large scale hydro development is being built by Scottish and Southern Electricity, with german firm Hochtief Uk as the main contractor. The company are said to be looking for a wide range of construction personnel including Labourers, Quantity surveyors, site engineers, storeman and admin and secretarial staff.

 

The company have also come under fire in the local press for advertising there vacancies only in polish, which has angered locals for not giving them a fair chance of obtaining the jobs.
