CLERK OF WORKS
Aptus Personnel Ltd are currently looking to recruit a temporary Clerk of Works ideally from the end of March 2008 to March 2009 (with possible extension beyond this period). Pay rate depending on experience and qualifications.
JOB PURPOSE:
To assist in the management and delivery of Projects led by the Housing & Property Services Central Team, including the management of audits, preparation of prioritised programmes of work, preparation of project briefs and to ensure that subsequent approved projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
To consult with Client groups, fellow officers and external consultants prior to the preparation of project briefs for relevant projects.
To work with the appointed Team Leader/Project Manager to ensure the efficient & effective delivery of relevant projects.
To carry out any other related duties, as and when requested by the Property Manager (Building Maintenance).
