Health and Safety Manager
A Health & Safety professional is required to develop and maintain statutory compliance and industrial good practice in the H&S policies for our client. This would include working with procedures, processes and training to promote safe practices. Duties will include maintaining awareness of current developments in UK and EU safety statutory requirements; providing and maintaining a comprehensive H&S advisory and support service; developing and implementing an annual H&S Training Plan; ensuring that safety of contractors working on premises is monitored; leading statutory audits; and other duties related to the role. Must have 5+ years experience in a manufacturing/industrial background with degree in Science or Engineering and minimum NEBOSH Dip part 2. MIOSH and RSP are desirable. Must also be self sufficient with IT skills and be a good communicator.
